Minibeasts – Years 1 and 2, Level A2
About this unit:
This unit of work illustrates a teaching and learning cycle that builds students’ knowledge of minibeasts which incorporates key grammatical structures that support EAL students to express their understanding, deconstructs the main grammatical features and structures of an explanation text, and supports students to jointly and independently construct a final written assessment and oral presentation about the life-cycle of a minibeast. The activities in this unit incorporate language learning experiences that support oral language development as well as provides differentiation ideas for EAL students at Level A2 within a unit of work.
