About this unit:
This unit of work illustrates how assessment tasks can be integrated in a teaching unit focused on Volcanoes for students at Stages S3 and S4. The language covered in the unit includes the verbal and written explanation of processes, and the use of present tenses, imperatives, and active and passive voice. The main assessment activities are the (oral) presentation of a model volcano to classmates, and the writing of an article.
